[Mecha Duel]

Aww I was cheering for the blue guy...

Ok like this, motion good.
Not the smoothest movie, but good.

Art, not very detailed, but given there's so much animation I understand.

Bottom line:
This had lots of action, looked fun, was crazy and entertaining.

I mean they just started kicking their asses!

Well good.
I was entertained.
Espetially at the parachuite part...GOING DOWN...

How... toxic...

I worked with a lot of shape tweens to create 3D like shots like in the matrix.
I think you used a lot of them in this flash. I mean if you didn't use shape tweens than how THE HELL did you make it so smooth?
For example when the faces turnt.

Great art.
Interesting scene transmitions.
Nice style and color composition.
Very estetic.

HUGE filesize though.

Good.

First of all you cut the song?
Then this is not about a guy brining a bogo stick to a date.

The pogo stick represents a falus the people with no names represent his imaginary sexual partners. It's about an erotic fanatsy. I men do you ever name your dreamgirl?

Just one pogo stick means the guy was fantasising about an orgy and he was the only guy. I'm sure you know that though.

Listen the artwork and scvenes were good, but a song really should fit the video. I mean the video should really fit the song.

Well firstly... System of a Down's "Aerials" video doesn't match the song at all, but people still love it.
Secondly I DO NOT WANNA ANIMATE SOME GUY JACKING OFF TO AN IMAGINARY MASS ORGY. And I HOPE you don't wanna watch that.

(The song isn't cut, this is off the Toxicity B-sides. It's a tiny bit shorter than the normal one... I didn't want to do as much animation, and I didn't want the pogo-ing to get too repetitive at the start =)

Brilliant flash!

Very accurate fighting coreography.
I should know I've seen the burly brawl over 30 times.

I mean you left the sound and music.
And put in mario effect and characters.

SImple silly idea really, but none less briliant as it is genious!

This flash is legendary in my book.

One of the best early and current matrix spoof around.

Original funny jokes, great good, original, ok not a lot but enough, stuff.

Well looks like you have flash 8 wich served you well since you had some really nice blurs. The cannon shots looked great.
YOu do know you can blur in 8 right? I mean I hope you didn't do it in photoshop or anything :P

Well length, and hard work get you a 5 here my friend. If it wasn't this long it would be a 4 but you get a 5 ^^

Piece of advice

You just traced some bitmaps, you'll need a lot of them and know how to use them well or you'll end up looking like a lazy know-nothing animator.
SO use more than just one zombie.

Or instead of tracing bitmaps go copying them on top as they take upl ots of space.
I mean this thing is HUGE in regards to it's lenth.
Or maybe it's due to the avi you inserted att he end...

Well if you work on this it may look good.

I think you're right, its 780kb without the avi but i'll probably be using a few things at least once.

A freind of mine (i think) already suggested the multi-zombie route and thats the proposed plan, in the extras section the surprise appearances of chris and rebecca who I'll be modelling very soon also feature a zombie with chris that I plan to medel as the at least second zombie.

Anyway, thanks again, my fingers are almost falling off from responding to these reviews :) (sounds like a good excuse to can this).
